of a company. The default identity is the Kolab Now and the one affected by the
bug is the GMX. I was hoping someone could advise me on more diagnostic actions

I can't reproduce with these steps. After reopening KMail, the selected
identity is still there.
Yes, it is tricky as it only happens on certain accounts. I have three IMAPidentity is still there.
